As settlers, we commit to continuing our own (re)learning journey towards truth and reconciliation with the Indigenous people of Turtle Island. In this way, we gratefully recognize that the land on which London and surrounding area is located, has been the longstanding home of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Chonnonton Nations. We humbly acknowledge the historical and contemporary forms of colonialism imposed on Indigenous people, and are grateful for the many stories of resilience, reclamation, and resistance finally, and rightfully, becoming the focus of important discussions between Indigenous and non-indigenous people in this country.
