Jacqueline On, MSW, RSW

  • Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist

Sometimes when one is in their darkest moments, a compassionate listener can make all the difference. My priority in therapy is to create a gentle, safe, non-judgemental space where you can unburden yourself from worry and suffering. Healing looks different for everyone, but please know that you are not alone. As a psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OSWSSW), I would be honoured to walk beside you every step of the way, as we move forward together towards your well-being goals.

My practice mainly utilizes behavioural skill-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dielectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I also integrate mindfulness and Emotion Freedom Technique (EFT) as I believe strongly in the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I approach therapy from a strengths-based, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed perspective and I deeply value and respect one’s lived experience. Everyone is unique and I am committed to finding the right blend of approaches that work best for you.

I most frequently work with adults dealing with depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and grief to help them feel less adrift, improve their relationships, self-confidence, and self-compassion. Additionally, I have experience working in community mental health with students with disabilities, newcomers to Canada, seniors, caregivers, and people who have had a brain injury.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and it would be my privilege to accompany you on your journey towards inner healing.

When I am not working, you can find me admiring cat photos, crafting, or spending time with family.

If you’re wondering if I can help you, please contact me for a free 15 minute consultation and we can determine together if I am the right fit for you.
