Lucas Roe, MSW, RSW

  • Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist
Navigating challenges can be a daunting task, and I recognize the courage it takes to seek support. My mission is to craft a place of warmth and comfort where you feel welcomed and empowered to unfold your story. You don’t have to go through this journey alone. Together, we will build a foundation of coping skills, establish meaningful goals, and address complex emotions. My approach is rooted in a strengths-based, trauma-informed lens and collaboration to discover your full potential.

I am a registered Social Worker with a Social Service Work Diploma from Lambton College, a Bachelor of Social Work from King’s University College, and a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. I have been in the social work field for 12 years with a focus on youth and adolescent mental health, geriatric care, anxiety, depression, crisis intervention, case management, and behavioural health. I often use theoretical approaches such as strengths-based, client-centred, and emotion-focused, and draw on several modalities including narrative therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, and aspects of parts work. I believe that all experiences are unique and that fostering a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and security is the first step in your wellness journey.

In my spare time, you can find me reading, going to the gym, or spending time with friends.
