  • Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist

Everyone is prone to experiencing challenges and impactful events in their lives and deserves adequate support, compassion, and resources to navigate them. As a practicing Psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW), I am here to listen, learn, and validate the experiences that have brought you to this point. I am excited to meet you and create a warm, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment where we can celebrate the small wins, acknowledge barriers, and work together towards reaching your goals for mental and emotional wellbeing. As a racialized clinician, I work from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and anti-racist lens to ensure a safe, validating, and inclusive space for all clients.

I am most experienced in using narrative, CBT, attachment theory, DBT techniques, strengths-based, and somatic approaches. By building secure and genuine therapeutic relationships, I walk alongside my clients to identify any problem narratives, along with goals, strengths, and resources they possess to support their growth and healing. Additionally, I bring an anti-racist and intersectional lens to offer validation, and honour how the intersectionality of identities impacts one’s experience. With years of experience working with parents, youth, and young adults (12-30); I enjoy implementing creative and fun ways to build strong therapeutic relationships, establish safe spaces to talk about anything on your minds and try new things. I love working with clients to address their past experiences and current challenges which include, but are not limited to anxiety, depression, parenting and attachment, non-death loss, school or work challenges, transitional periods, and significant events. I also have additional interest, skills, and training in navigating neurodiversity with clients, such as ADHD or mild-moderate traumatic brain injuries. I am also passionate about exploring issues regarding the complexities of identity and navigating any feelings of confusion and acknowledging the experiences and impact of systematic oppression.

In my spare time, you can find me exploring local cafes and restaurants with my loved ones, experimenting with different forms of photography, cozying up with a good book, and engaging with my local community by advocating as a board member of various organizations and groups. If you’re wondering if I can support you, please contact me and we can determine together if I am the right fit for you.
